DSA Welcome Back Booths Draw Thousands During Welcome Back Weeks

More than 10,000 guests enjoyed refreshments, music, giveaways and more at our Welcome Back Booths in parks and public spaces around downtown earlier this month. These colorful pop-up booths are just one part of a DSA-led activation and events strategy designed to help reacquaint employers, workers and visitors with the center city while creating a great environment for downtown residents.

If you missed out in July, don’t worry. Fully stocked booths will be popped up around downtown again during the week of Sept. 13-19. In addition to the Welcome Back Weeks, locals and visitors alike can enjoy hundreds of other free events all summer long in downtown. With funding from the Metropolitan Improvement District, the DSA summer events calendar includes 100-plus outdoor concerts and pop-up musical theatre performances by the 5th Avenue Theatre, along with self-guided scavenger hunts and guided urban hikes along the waterfront or through the retail core.  Check out the full calendar of events and make plans to join us!
