Safety Team

Our downtown Safety Ambassadors are on the ground seven days a week in six downtown neighborhoods assisting visitors, residents, workers and homeless individuals. From providing directions to out-of-towners, to aiding downtown’s unsheltered population, this dedicated team helps keep downtown safe, welcoming and livable.

Park Ambassador of the Month: Jayne

Jayne welcomes everyone with respect and a smile that inevitably turns to contagious laughter. In her time as a Park ambassador, Jayne has developed a reputation for helping those in need — a role she has taken much of her life. Her compassion and commitment has resulted in numerous individuals finding shelter, gaining access to resources and building trust in us as downtown ambassadors.

Jayne’s hard work, aided by her coworkers, has created a safe and inclusive environment within our parks and public spaces. Just like her laughter, Jayne’s pride in her work radiates to fellow ambassadors as well as those who frequent the park. Please join us in congratulating Jayne as our Ambassador of the month.
