Genre: Hip-Hop, Rap Address: The Square at 2+U / 1201 Second Ave. Chimurenga Renaissance is a Zimbabwean-centered hip-hop project formed in 2012. Squishy, wet synth lines burble and wheeze against the organic sounds of mbira thumb pianos and ngoma drums evoking both urban America and sub-Saharan Africa.
