SPD Patrols & Private Security
Property owners within the MID invest in dedicated overtime bike patrols with the Seattle Police Department. These safety services help ensure a greater security presence downtown for residents, workers and visitors. MID funding also supports contracted security officers at DSA/MID events in downtown parks and public spaces, including during outdoor concerts and the annual holiday tree lighting.
