Genre: Indie rock Address: Westlake Park / 401 Pine St. With complicated arrangements and careful orchestrations, live performances from Typhoon are always a night to remember. The indie-rock band hails from Portland, but has been all over the globe, including a feature on NPR’s Tiny Desk and playing Lollapalooza and other high profile music festivals. Their unique sound comes from experimenting with various styles, including a number of “sea shanties”, country western and Eastern European-inspired songs for a truly unforgettable experience.
