Genre: Folk Rock, Indie Pop Join us as we kick off our annual concert series, Downtown Summer Sounds! In 2024, we’re lifting up local, national and international talents for more than 30 free live concerts all summer. Performing in Seattle for the first time since 2022, singer/songwriter Thao will bring her folk rock sound to the kick-off concert at Westlake Park. Pre-show starts at 4:30 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. performance. Let us know you’re coming! RSVP is requested but not required. Thảo Nguyễn (better known simply as “Thao”) is a veteran artist, songwriter, touring musician and producer. She’s released music via legendary labels Kill Rock Stars and Domino Record Co. imprint Ribbon Music and been featured by The New York Times, NPR, Austin City Limits, Pitchfork, Washington Post and many more.
