Genre: R&B, Pop Address: The Square at 2+U / 1201 Second Ave. Parisalexa’s genre-bending sound is both fresh and reminiscent of her musical influences, ranging from Brandy to Whitney Houston to Amel Larrieux. Her song “Pity Party” was hailed by Billboard as the best song of the season on NBC’s Songland. Parisalexa preaches body positivity, the power of feminine energy and self-love over layered harmonies, dazzling her live audiences.
Parisalexa will be preceded by opening act DJ Nayiram. Nayiram is a DJ, music producer, event curator and concert promoter deeply rooted in Seattle’s dynamic music scene. He played a pivotal role in Seattle’s cultural landscape as the host of Blastfest 2023, the city’s inaugural Afrobeats festival, captivating audiences and leaving an indelible mark. The Downtown Seattle Association is proud to present Downtown Summer Sounds, our summer concert series that has been bringing free live, local music to downtown Seattle for 45 years.
