Genre: Indie, Electronic Address: Westlake Park / 401 Pine St. Los Eclipses is a Franco-Mexican duo formed by French singer Eva de Marce and musician/producer Dan Solo. The frenetic combination of styles between its members creates a sonorous layer full of contrasting nuances: from light to darkness, from melancholy to euphoria, from calmness to party.
Los Eclipses will be preceded by opening act Mega Cat. Referred to as its own mystical being, Mega Cat transmits instrumental narratives that feel familiar to fans of 20th century science fiction, afro-beat, hip hop and psychedelic music. In a rare interview, the creature stated “mega cat is mutant. mega cat isn’t done mutating.” The Downtown Seattle Association is proud to present Downtown Summer Sounds, our summer concert series that has been bringing free live, local music to downtown Seattle for 45 years.
