Genres: indie rock, dream pop 999 3rd / 999 Third Ave. Seattle indie rock band La Fonda, fronted by Filipino American sisters Valerie and Veronica Topacio, blends atmospheric shoegaze, dream pop and alt-rock with songs rooted in sisterhood, identity and survival. Joined by Jesse Cole, Bryan Dever and Jacob Whinihan, La Fonda has opened for artists including Snail Mail, Joseph and Alvvays, establishing the band as a powerful voice in the city’s indie rock scene.
