Genres: indie rock, dream pop, alternative 1200 Fifth / 1200 Fifth Ave. Byland is the Seattle-based project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alie Renee, whose cinematic indie-rock sound pairs lush arrangements with deeply vulnerable songwriting. Backed by a Grammy Award-winning production team and a seasoned touring band, Byland has captivated audiences across the West and East coasts with powerful, intimate live performances.
The Downtown Seattle Association is proud to present Downtown Summer Sounds, our summer concert series that has been bringing free live, local music to downtown Seattle for more than 45 years.
