As part of our mission to create a healthy, vibrant downtown for all, the Downtown Seattle Association — with funding from the Metropolitan Improvement District — is bringing free live music to downtown parks and public spaces throughout the summer.

Every Wednesday through September, you’ll find lunchtime buskers at Westlake Park from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., and afternoon tunes at Occidental Square from 4–6 p.m. And starting in July, we’re bringing back our long-standing summer concert series, Downtown Summer Sounds. Presented by Amazon, the series will feature nearly 40 free outdoor events across downtown through early September. Our lineup features artists from around the Pacific Northwest, playing everything from indie and alt-rock to soul and pop. All the fun begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 7 at Westlake Park.
