Food on park table

DSA is back in Westlake Park and Occidental Square, ensuring these popular downtown parks are safe and welcoming for returning visitors. When you’re ready, come out and enjoy a socially distanced lunch or take a break at a frequently cleaned bistro table.

Starting July 6, food trucks began offering hot and fresh meals in Westlake Park. One to two trucks will serve lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. Signage and ground icons will help guide guests through the purchase and pickup process, and staff are making sure all tables and chairs are spaced with plenty of room to eat and relax at a safe distance.

You can check out the daily menus at seattlefoodtruck.com. Curbside Provisions is also offering more online ordering for pick up in the park.

Starting Aug. 2, Park Ambassadors will offer concierge services Sunday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Among other returning activities are ping pong, reading rooms and hula hoops. In addition to encouraging all visitors stay safely distanced, Ambassadors will ensure park amenities are clean, sanitized and safe for use.

We plan to continue resuming services in accordance with the latest public health guidelines. Per the Governor’s order, we request all visitors wear masks while in the park. Our Ambassadors will wear protective coverings while providing services.

The buskers aren’t back yet, but keep an eye out for information on our returning music series, Downtown Summer Sounds. Lineup, locations and how to listen will be announced in the near future.
