Why Join DSA?

We’re a nonprofit membership organization focused on creating a healthy, vibrant downtown for all. We believe when downtown thrives, the whole city flourishes. Our membership includes 1,100 businesses, nonprofit organizations and residents. While our members join DSA for different reasons, they all share a love of downtown and a desire to help shape our city. Membership in DSA gives you access, influence and visibility: access to member-only events, information, networking and support; an opportunity to influence critical public policy issues; and the ability to showcase your organization with other business and civic leaders.

What Our Members Are Saying

Chris Copacino, Copacino Fujikado

“DSA membership provides the opportunity to engage with business and community leaders and to play a role in the strengthening of Seattle’s vibrant core.”

Ashley Hayes, Pointe3 Real Estate

This is achieved through public events, Global Classroom programming for K-12 educators and students, and diplomacy initiatives that engage international delegations with our community. It is a fundamental formula that works well but is highly adaptable, allowing the Council to reach a large cross-section of Seattle with a wide range of topics. Our platform connects civic, academic, corporate, and individual members around world issues.
