Kahil El’Zabar’s Ethnic Heritage Ensemble is a jazz group first founded in 1973. Sir Kahil El’Zabar was knighted by the Counsel General of France for his long-standing international contributions to the arts, and holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Arts from Lake Forest College. He has worked with iconic names and luminaries of music, including Dizzy Gillespie, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and more.
