Downtown Summer Sounds Returns for 2026

Posted on

SEATTLE, June 30, 2026 — Downtown Summer Sounds, Seattle’s beloved free outdoor concert series, is back for 2026 with a jam-packed slate of shows. The 47th installment of the series launches at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at Westlake Park and runs through Aug. 27, featuring eight main-stage performances plus nine pop-up shows at locations throughout downtown Seattle.

Last year, DSS drew a record 16,000+ fans across all performances, including nearly 6,000 at the kickoff concert. This year promises to build on that momentum with an eclectic roster of artists spanning indie folk, R&B, hip-hop, rock and more.

“Downtown Summer Sounds is one of those unique Seattle traditions that brings people together from every corner of the city,” DSA Director of Public Realm Operations Owen Harrang said. “We can’t wait to open the summer with Infinity Song and keep the energy going all the way through August.”

Opening Night: Infinity Song at Westlake Park

DSS kicks off at Westlake Park with acclaimed soft rock group Infinity Song, a family quartet with more than 750,000 monthly Spotify listeners, who’s currently on a world tour. The concert follows a Summer of Sports free soccer watch party at the same venue, making for a full evening of downtown fun.

Other top artists coming to downtown include G Flip (3.9M+ monthly Spotify listeners), Ocie Elliott (3M+) and Saba (850K+).

Attend Five Shows, Win a Free Hotel Stay

Concertgoers are encouraged to pick up a DSS stamp card at the info booth at any show. Collect stamps at five DSS concerts throughout the series and receive a free reusable tote bag, plus be entered to win the grand prize: a complimentary stay at The State Hotel. Giveaways are also available at the info booth while supplies last.
