In early October, the Downtown Seattle Association took an exciting step forward with its move to a new office located at the corner of Second Avenue and Pine Street. Metropolitan Improvement District operations and ambassadors are slated to move into the Second and Pine building later this year, so after decades of operating out of separate offices, the DSA/MID teams will soon be under one roof.

The new location, a fully remodeled, century-old building that was once home to Nordstrom Rack, offers an open environment with modern amenities and beautiful waterfront views of Elliott Bay. The office is conveniently located near Pike Place Market, positioning the DSA/MID in the heart of the city.

“Being under one roof, having much better and larger space for our ambassador operations and lots of collaboration areas for us to utilize will further the great culture we’ve built,” DSA President &; CEO Jon Scholes said.

The space features plenty of room for the organization’s 165 ambassadors, who will soon make the transition from their Stewart Street office. Having everyone in one location will foster even more teamwork and innovation as DSA/MID continues its mission to make downtown Seattle a vibrant, safe and welcoming place for residents, businesses and visitors alike.

With stunning views, easy access to key downtown locations and more room to grow, the new office sets the stage for even greater collaboration and impact in the years to come.
