New SnackBox at Westlake Park serves up tasty bites, good vibes

Posted on

Westlake Park, located in the heart of the retail core, has a new amenity: the SnackBox. The concession stand creates the perfect venue for local vendors to sell to the public, and offers residents and visitors alike a new way to grab a quick bite to eat or a refreshing beverage.

The SnackBox — in partnership with Curbside Provisions and Seattle Parks and Recreation — has been open and bustling during Downtown Summer Sounds concerts at Westlake Park.

Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., the SnackBox hosts local vendors with fresh offerings. If you’re in town, don’t miss happy hour every Thursday (and DSS Fridays) from 4-7 p.m. through August.

“We’re excited to bring this new addition to Westlake Park,” DSA Director of Public Realm Operations Owen Harrang said. “The SnackBox has been a great way to support vendors while adding even more energy to the park. Stop by and join us.”

Next time you’re in the area, be sure to swing by and enjoy the tasty vibes at the SnackBox.
