New SnackBox at Westlake Park Serves up Tasty Bites, Good Vibes
Posted on

If you’ve enjoyed a Downtown Summer Sounds concert in Westlake Park this season, or spent your lunch hour in the retail core, you’ve probably noticed the park’s new amenity: the SnackBox.
The concession stand creates the perfect venue for local vendors to sell to the public, and offers residents and visitors alike a new way to grab a quick bite to eat or a refreshing beverage.
The SnackBox — in partnership with Curbside Provisions and Seattle Parks and Recreation — has been open and bustling during DSS concerts at Westlake Park.
Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., the SnackBox hosts local vendors with fresh offerings. If you’re in town, don’t miss happy hour every Thursday (and DSS Fridays) from 4-7 p.m. through August.
We’re excited to bring this new addition to Westlake Park,” DSA Director of Public Realm Operations Owen Harrang said. “The SnackBox has been a great way to support vendors while adding even more energy to the park. Stop by and join us.”
Next time you’re in the area, be sure to swing by and enjoy the tasty vibes at the SnackBox.
