DSA Welcomes New Board Leadership and Members
Posted on

We’re thrilled to welcome several new leaders to the DSA Board of Directors. With the leadership of Chair Mari Horita, Vice Chair Scott Redman and Treasurer Aaron Blankers, as well as General Counsel Dustin O’Quinn continuing in his role, we are set for an exciting and eventful programming year of revitalization in downtown.
Mari took the reins from Sung Yang at the 67th DSA/MID Annual Meeting & Party in June, and we are eager to work with her as she builds on Sung’s incredible leadership over the past two years. In her remarks, Mari highlighted the shared vision and collaboration that makes downtown Seattle so unique. She spoke of transformative projects like the stunning waterfront, the reimagining of Westlake Park and the restoration of Memorial Stadium, all of which will shape the future of our city.
In addition to Mari and our leadership team, we are excited to welcome a group of new board members who bring diverse perspectives and invaluable expertise:
- Andy Bench, Wright Runstad & Company
- Denise Moriguchi, Uwajimaya
- Erik Nordstrom, Nordstrom Stores
- Megan Ouellette, Alaska Airlines
- Krish Srinivasan, PCC Community Markets
- Melissa Robertson, Seattle Mariners
- Scott Stulen, Seattle Art Museum
As Mari shared in her remarks, the next two years will be full of opportunity, with several exciting projects coming to life. With the leadership of our new board members, we’re ready to make meaningful progress and continue strengthening downtown for all who live, work and visit here.
