SEATTLE, June 11, 2025 — The Downtown Seattle Association is excited to announce the return of Downtown Summer Sounds, one of Seattle’s premier free outdoor concert series, now in its 46th season. From July 11 through Aug. 28, the center city will pulse with the energy of live music, with a diverse lineup of local, national and international acts.

DSS, presented by Amazon, brings 19 unforgettable shows to unique public spaces across downtown Seattle, beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 11 at Westlake Park, where singer-songwriter Raveena will kick off the series. The opening concert will close Pine Street from Fifth to Fourth avenues.

“Downtown Summer Sounds is one of the best parts of summertime in Seattle,” DSA Vice President of Public Realm & Ambassador Operations Jennifer Casillas said. “It’s a fun, accessible way for everyone to experience the vibrancy of our city. We’re so thrilled for these shows, which wouldn’t be possible without partners like Amazon and the MID ratepayers.”

Venues range from Westlake, Occidental, Freeway and Bell Street parks to 999 3rd Avenue, Railroad Way, Harbor Steps and 1200 Fifth.

“Downtown Summer Sounds is a Seattle tradition that Amazon is proud to sponsor again this year,” said Taylor Hoang, a community engagement leader for Amazon. “This popular free concert series is one more reason for people from across the Puget Sound and those visiting the region to enjoy all that downtown Seattle has to offer — from restaurants and retailers to parks and live music.”

Last summer, the concert series drew more than 22,500 fans. This year, there are fewer shows but bigger names. The 2025 lineup of artists has more than 1.6 million Instagram followers combined and 15 million monthly Spotify listeners.

Some of the top artists joining Raveena in the lineup are DRAM, Cimafunk, Jackie Venson, Kishi Bashi, Lady Wray and Hollow Coves — who will close the DSS series on Aug. 28 at Occidental Square — to name a few.

DSS is presented by Amazon, in partnership with KEXP, Lime and Seattle Parks & Recreation, with generous support from MID ratepayers.
