Downtown Summer Sounds Returns for Its 46th Year
Posted on

Summer in Seattle isn’t complete without Downtown Summer Sounds, our beloved free outdoor concert program that returns for a 46th season. This iconic series, presented by Amazon, brings the rhythm of Seattle to life with a diverse lineup of local, national and international acts performing throughout the center city.
Singer-songwriter Raveena, a solo performer at Coachella in 2022, kicks the series off at Westlake Park on Friday, July 11. The opening show will bring the party to Pine Street, closing the street to traffic from Fifth to Fourth avenues. The 19-show run, which concludes with the Hollow Coves on Aug. 28, features concerts at various downtown parks and venues.

Last summer, more than 22,500 fans attended 35 concerts. This year, the lineup of artists boasts a combined 1.6 million Instagram followers and 15 million monthly Spotify listeners. So, no matter what type of music you’re into, DSS has so much to offer, and all concerts are free.
DSS is presented by Amazon, in partnership with Lime and Seattle Parks & Recreation, with generous support from MID ratepayers. Together, we’re creating vibrant, welcoming spaces for our community to gather and enjoy summer in downtown.
