Celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake, with a lion dance performance featuring the Mak Fai Dragon & Lion Dance Association. According to tradition, the dance brings good luck and good fortune for the coming year.

Festivities in Westlake Park will also include giveaways of red envelopes and other goodies. The fun starts at 11:30 a.m. and the dance starts at noon.

An additional lion dance performance will take place at First Avenue and Pike Street starting at 1 p.m.
