Relief for Artists

Thank you for doing your part in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Arts Recovery Package

Mayor Durkan’s Arts Recovery Package is composed of two initiatives: $100,000 in immediate relief for artists and creative workers through two private artist relief funds; and $1 million Arts Stabilization Fund to invest in arts and cultural organizations to help mitigate revenue losses due to the moratorium on events and public gatherings. Funds will be distributed through the Seattle’s Office of Arts & Culture grant programs.

The Seattle Relief Fund is currently on pause. If you are an artist in need of funds, you can join this waiting list.

Resources for Artists and Creative Workers

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture developed a Google Sheet documenting additional resources, including dozens of funds for artists and arts organizations impacted by COVID-19. See their blog post about this for more information and updates.

Artist Relief National Grant Program

To support artists during the COVID-19 crisis, a coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States.

Artist Relief will distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19.
