Relief for Artists
Thank you for doing your part in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Arts Recovery Package
Mayor Durkan’s Arts Recovery Package is composed of two initiatives: $100,000 in immediate relief for artists and creative workers through two private artist relief funds; and $1 million Arts Stabilization Fund to invest in arts and cultural organizations to help mitigate revenue losses due to the moratorium on events and public gatherings. Funds will be distributed through the Seattle’s Office of Arts & Culture grant programs.
The Seattle Relief Fund is currently on pause. If you are an artist in need of funds, you can join this waiting list.
COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund
The COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund from Artist Trust provides rapid response grants supporting critical needs of artists whose livelihoods have been impacted by COVID-19. If you’re an artist in need, apply to the COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund.
The Artist Trust is also maintaining a list of COVID-19 resources for artists, including a number of emergency funds from other organizations.
Artist Relief National Grant Program
To support artists during the COVID-19 crisis, a coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States.
Artist Relief will distribute $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19.
